• EIGRP can be configured through two modes:

1. Router Config Mode
2. Interface Config Mode

• Router config mode enables the protocol, determines which networks will run EIGRP, and sets global characteristics
• Interface config mode allows customization of summaries, metrics, timers and bandwidth
